Our developer team pushed an update through this morning. Anyone with Automatic Updates turned on for their device will see this change, typically overnight. Anyone without this feature would need to go to iPhone's App Store or Google play to push the update. We apologize for the trouble on this.

Townsend School District COVID Protocol Update
9/7/2021
1. Please stay home if you have any COVID symptoms or a fever.
2. If you are concerned you or your student are a close contact or have been exposed please follow the CDC guidance below and contact the Broadwater County Health Department 266-5209. The Broadwater County Health Department provides quarantine guidance and requirements, not the school. If Broadwater County Health Department calls the school with a confirmed positive case the school will give the county the names of close contacts so that the county can notify families and provide guidance.
3. Our number one goal is to keep school open and students and staff safe. We are relying on you to be personally responsible.
4. Important COVID messages such as grade level closures will be shared through Infinite Campus and the website.

Elementary Notice for Drop-off/Pick-up.
ATTENTION BULLDOG FANS!!
Tonight we kick off the fall season with our Blue & White Scrimmages!! HS Volleyball starts @ 5:00PM in the 63 Gym, and HS Football starts at 6:00PM on Fandrich Field! While there are no current spectator limits/regulations related to covid (masks are optional), we need everyone to do their part to keep our students, staff and school safe and open. IF YOU ARE SICK, OR KNOW YOU MAY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND EVENTS!! We greatly appreciate your help to keep our activities on track!! Also, due to mass amounts of construction on and near the football field, the only entrance is the main gate on Cedar Street (Fandrich Arch). Here's to an awesome season...GO BULLDOGS!!

Update for the Bulldog Clubhouse after school program. We will start August 30th with M-Th hours 3:30 to 6:00 and Friday hours 2:30 to 5:00. Applications are available in the elementary office and online. Have a great week.

Middle School Students – when you arrive on the first day of school, please go to the football field side of the school near the blue sheds and bike racks. Staff will be out there to escort you in at 8:10. Due to construction, we will not enter directly into the MS building. Staff will be out there to bring you in. At that time, each grade level will go to a room where each student will receive a schedule and locker assignment. We are excited about being able to start the year in our newly remodeled MS wing. There is still construction going on in the connector between the MS and HS, so please be respectful of barriers and equipment and stay in our designated spaces.
This year Townsend Middle School will be utilizing electronic versions of the Student Handbook. Physical copies will be available for those who are interested in having one. Here is a link to the 2021 - 2022 Townsend Middle School handbook.
